Kenneth P. Ruscio

Kenneth Patrick Ruscio (1954) is an American college professor. He was Dean of the Jepson School of Leadership Studies at the University of Richmond for four years, having previously held the post of Dean of Freshmen, Associate Dean of the Williams School of Commerce at Washington and Lee while teaching politics before being elected President of Washington and Lee University on March 7, 2006. Ruscio gained his B.A. in politics from Washington and Lee in 1976, having studied at Christian Brothers Academy in Lincroft, New Jersey, until 1972. He went on to gain an M.P.A. and Ph.D. in 1978 and 1983, respectively, from Syracuse University, Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs.[1]

He is the author of The Leadership Dilemma in Modern Democracy.
